How did you start out as an artist and designer?
...looking and re-building all beautiful things around my mind!!

What inspires you?
Colours and Harmony

Describe your style of design:
Minimal but full of passion

What are your bad design habits?
Maybe. I love everything that I create?!

What are your thoughts on today's New Media Designers?
I don't like this kind of word. Designer is always a designer also without tecnology. So, I do not know. I don't have definitive thoughts about new media designer...maybe we can find different way to express our ideas.

What do you do besides design?
I'm a DJ and a photograper. But I prefer to spend a lot of time with my girl:)

How would you compare today's Graphic Design Styles from 40 years ago?
There's no different? Different age=different ideas

What is more important for a designer artistic qualities or design education? Choose one:
Maybe artistic qualities, but the first thing is in your mind.

Do you think that traditional art styles transfer across well to graphic design?
Sure!!

A lot of your work is very sexy and hip, is that model used a personal friend of yours?
I've had to say that sex and female inspired a lot of my work. They are faces of my creativity. All that models are friends of mine; thanks to kumi, masuimi and my special girlfriend:) I use to realize works for them, like desktop, poster and banner. You can see them in my web site

Have you ever worked with someone who personally inspired you, if so who and why?
No, I take my inspiration from everything around me...

Do you think that Flash is cool or overused?
I think that flash is overused for trivial projects and splash page:(. But I think it's KINKY)

Do you have any cool design tips?
Of course, but I won't reveal them J

If there were one thing you could change about Adobe Photoshop what would it be?
What else? Maybe a Timeline

What question do you wish I had asked, and how would you have answered it?
what's my favorite project?

Do you have any new projects coming up that you can tell us about?
I'm working on a number of project about...next big sport event. But...you'll see!!

Final comments:
I'd just like to say thanks for having me participate and I hope my answers have been helpful in some way. Respect for my Friends and Art.

“A little while after the release of the first tokyoplastic; it was getting 40,000 hits a day, which was very surprising and cool and made us happy and we received a lot of enquiries from potential clients. Prior commitments meant that it took a whole year just to get to the position where we were able to start accepting the offers.”

“Style is a good thing - but if anything I would like to be as diverse as possible - stylistically. To corner oneself into a certain style only means that one is limited. It's the age-old debate over specialization versus generalization. I find that as a designer - if a client were to present a problem to me, I need to be fully capable of solving that problem in any way possible..”

“I've just been drawing like mad since I was two feet tall, and haven't stopped. When I was younger I was really into cartoons (I'm sure most kids were), and I used to sit in front of the TV for hours drawing what I saw. Then I started making my own characters and drew them in scenarios with the characters I saw in TV. Then I discovered comics and it was all over, ALL of my money went towards those for
the next 8 years....”
